Let's think about tomorrow...

Have you ever thought what life would be like if you knew what tomorrow was going to bring. In a way there's part of me that would love to know what tomorrow had in store so that I could prepare for it, in what ever wasy was needed. But then again isn't it quite nice to have a surprise, I guess life would be rather boring if we knew what tomorrow held.

I know what i've got planned for this year, but in 6 months who actually knows where each of us will be or what we'll be doing. I know what I want to do but life rarely works out like that. I know what i'd like to be doing in 5 years, but god only knows what'll happen.

If i've learnt one thing in my short 19 years on this planet, it is that you get out of life what you put into it, and I guess it's all about the here and now. Everything happens for a reason, and even though even at times of deepest distress, I can now see why it all happened and how its improved life. Life is short, so never waste a minute unhappy, that's a minute you'll never get back. If the last 3 years are anything to go by then things can always change in a matter of days.

I wrote this while lying in bed last night, I guess watching Knowing last night made me think. Do love the way some films make you think about life.

Planes, Trains and a bit of snow.

How come this was forecast a week and a half ago, yet its shut down major transport links, airports have been closed, and there has been no end of car crashes. Yes, maybe this is the first time in 18 years this has happened, and we don't get it alot, but places like Heathrow Airport I would have thought would have been ready for such incident. And they would have runways and taxiways cleared to enable planes to move about. But no, 6 inches of snow and the entire country shuts down.

Then we've got people who turn around and say "oh even though I only work 10-15minutes down the road, I can't get there". I managed to get to the dentists and around Hastings today, and I even went up to the gym, don't tell me you can't get to work. People who use trains and buses have a fair reason.

£1.2 billion has been lost today. This country should have been better prepared, and people shouldn't be so lazy. But no matter what you think it's pretty damn lovely to wake up to and look at. Now it'd be nice for it to go away.

*Photo copyright to the BBC by the way. They're probably not getting enough money from the TV licences at the moment and in the very slim event of them seeing this, they're likely to sue. Nothing any good to watch on there anyway*
